  1. candiderocks says:

wash them inside out, make sure you are separating lights and darks, use a brand name detergent, the store brand just isn’t as good

  2. Wahkeen The Witch Doctor says:

Dude, you gotta remeber this. Darks = cold water, Whites = hot water, colors = warm wah/ cold rinse. And try not to ue too much detergent, because the chemicals are a tad abraisive to clothing, how do you think clothes get clean? Good luck man (pleae vote my anwer)

PS, also, if you can get ur hand on ome dye, ue it in the wash with like colored clothing, that may restore any fadeage

  3. mojo1969 says:

wash them inside out in cold water and use cheer with color guard.

  4. Justin K says:

Yeah, Banana Republic has some awesome shirts.

I hade the same problem. You want to wash all your clothes on the coldest setting. The put the dryer on medium heat so they dry slower then normal. The wash being cold keeps the colors from fading and the lower temp in the dryer helps keep them from shrinking.

I would personally used Tide cold water formula.

    Good luck brother.

Wash inside out gentle cycle cold water to keep bright colors. Non chlorine bleach for colors, white bleach for whites. Do not use a detergent with phosphates in it they are harsh on your clothes. Do not pack the washing machine with clothes, do smaller cycles with your nicer clothes. And line drying them is best. On a hanger hanging over your shower for example. Have you ever noticed all the lint that comes out of your dryer? That’s small little fibers of clothes! Eventually they’ll become very thin and used looking!

    Things You’ll Need:

    A washer and dryer
    Good detergent
    Vinegar

    Step1
Start with the initial purchase. Look for high quality clothes that have been acid dyed or reactive dyed.
Extra fine cotton and silk yarn hold color really well. When buying cotton t-shirts choose one that has lyrca in it.

    Step2
    Choose a good detergent clothes.

    Step3
Wash your clothes in cold water for one cycle.

when you are washing use a detergent and downy, the downy just makes the clothes more soft and they feel new for a while… also dont dry any shirts. put them in the dryer for 2 min on low heat with a downy sheet and then hang them to dry, the dryer for 2 min will get rid of any wrinkles, but I think that the majority of the fading is from the drying alone and what type of detergent you use really doesent make that big of a difference
