Sabrina S asked:
My grandmother is severely hunched over, and she has trouble doing up buttons on coats and things. We were hoping we could make her a coat that would be easier to do up and wouldn’t be uncomfortable for her to wear. I’d appreciate any information about clothes manufacturers for hunchbacked people, or designs of such clothes, or even just pictures.

Thank you sooo much!

Call your local senior services and ask them for the name of a tailor or seamstress. Some will alter clothing for free for the elderly in need of alterations due to issues such as your grandmother’s others may charge only a small fee.
If senior services knows nobody then call a local nursing home or personal care home as they may know of a good tailor or seamstress.
